Understanding
Brainwave states
Page 4
You can program “feelings”
through calculated sonic landscapes
Just like your favorite song can change your brain states through pleasant memories, our music can utilize the same effect to create artificial atmosphere perceptions that make you believe your experiencing a memory not just an external sound. One way we do this is to program the atmosphere in the subliminal range and have it play about a minute BEFORE the actual audible (consciously) track.
This puts the atmosphere in your mind subconsciously where it sits until you hear the sound consciously where it will link up with the subconscious memory of it, but so much more happens here. The subconscious mind will be hard at work generating associations of the atmosphere to make sense of it, to give you an image to see in your minds eye of ocean surf, rain and so forth.
When you hear the part of the track atmosphere your mind already started processing subconsciously, the result will be an instantaneous memory effect, where by you will make the connections much faster and in what used to take about a second to sync up (an aha moment) with will happen instantly giving you an incredibly real and “familiar” feeling about it. It is not uncommon to feel de javue when listening to our music for the first, second, or even every time!
How it’s done?
This is only possible because of a combination of subliminal (specifically ultrasonic, classic, and our own invention subliminal carousel) technologies, binaural technologies (which entrains the brain states into those useful for different things such as theta, for creative states where the mind works faster to produce associations with the subliminal atmosphere phase, so when the conscious phase hits you’ll feel it like a memory, then alpha which is where your wide awake, so when your listening to the sounds created in theta they become incredibly realistic. In most of our CD’s we switch between theta and alpha quickly but prepare the mind for this, this brings you into a hypnogogic (waking dream or hallucination like state) state.
There are many levels of each state and the brain is actually capable of experiencing all the states simultaneously. But often switches between them very rapidly.
